Self Catering Holiday Cottage Accommodation in Exmoor

Situated on the fringe of the Exmoor National Park in a quiet and elevated position on a lane leading to the hamlet of Bratton, the two bedroomed bungalow has beautiful south facing views across a wooded valley.

The cottage has been completely refurbished to a stylish five star design and is the perfect place to relax and unwind, enjoying a warm evening on the terrace with lovely country views.  It is fully central heated, which is available all day for guests to use as required.

The cottage comprises –

A spacious sitting room on two levels with woodland views.  Seating areas both in the inner lounge with TV, VCR with DVD player and radio, and by the picture window with dining area and conservatory suite.

A fully fitted modern white kitchen with double oven, gas hob, washer, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave etc (tumble dryer in garage).
Two double bedrooms, one twin bedded with en-suite toilet and washbasin, the other room with a king sized bed.
Newly installed bathroom, fully tiled, with shower over bath.
Leading from the sitting room there is a terrace for al fresco dining with views over the attractive garden with summer house to the beautiful wooded valley beyond.

Cottage Location

The pretty hamlet of Bratton lies in the valley below.  There are lovely country walks from the door.  In another direction there is a walk up the combe which takes you over the moor to the top of North Hill overlooking the Bristol Channel.

The whole area is ideal for walking and touring with Exmoor, the Quantocks, the medieval village of Dunster with its National Trust castle and unique Yarn Market, the thatched villages of Selworthy and Bossington, Porlock and Porlock Weir within easy reach.

Minehead is an attractive resort with large sandy beach.  From here steam trains run on a 20 mile scenic journey through the Quantocks and Exmoor countryside.
